Welcome to Anne Watson Elementary PTO’s website. We have a great school and we are very fortunate to have wonderful parents who are actively involved in our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). There are many opportunities to participate in PTO and in your child’s classroom. With your help, we can provide AWE students with events and activities that enhance their educational program. It’s also a great way to meet other parents and our AWEsome faculty and staff.

The Next PTO meeting for the 2008-2009 year will be Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 6:30. Hope to see you there! We will be voting in the new secretary and discussing ideas for fall fundraisers.

Cookie Dough Fundraising
PTO would like to say Thank You to all the parents that sold cookie dough. The profits raised from this event will go towards the purchase of a new sound system for programs such as The Holiday Program, Talent Show and Spring Fling.
We are pleased to announce that PTO is sponsoring a Parent Volunteer Program. The Parent Volunteer Coordinator is Denise Williams. There will be a Volunteer Form that parents can fill out. Denise will contact and schedule appointments for parents and teachers. Visitors and Volunteers must sign in at the office upon entering the building.
Membership Drive!!!
Our membership drive is under way. You must be a member in order to vote or run in the election of PTO executive officers. Anne Watson Elementary faculty and staff must also fill out a membership form to be able to vote or run for office. Don't delay. Send in your membership form today.
We are currently taking membership applications for the 2008-2009 school year. If you picked up an application during Open House, please fill it out and send it back with your child on the first day of school.
If you are in need of a membership application please email PTO or send a note with your child to school and we will get you one ASAP.
As of 9-7-2008 PTO has 91 members. This doubles what we had at our last membership drive.
